Important Information
ProtectMiChild
Since 2004, the State of Michigan has offered a free program to stop adult advertisements from reaching our children’s e-mail, mobile phones (text messaging), and instant messenger IDs.
The Michigan Child Protection Registry, administered by Michigan’s Secretary of State, allows Michigan schools and families to protect their students from receiving advertisements from tobacco, gambling, pornography, alcohol and marijuana companies. Parents can register themselves and their children’s information by going to www.ProtectMiChild.com.
