Peek at the Week
This newsletter is the resource to discover upcoming events, see the great things being accomplished in your child’s classrooms, and celebrate the accomplishments in our district as we continue to Build The Dam.
We are truly excited to welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year at Eau Claire High School. Whether you are new to the district, new to the high school or longtime resident, we are looking forward to another successful school year.
School Picture Day
Tuesday, September 21st
Team pictures will be on September 13th. Picture packets will be given to your child during a school day closer to September 13th.
Student schedules have very little flexibility for changes. In order for students to adjust their schedule for any reason, your child needs to:
. Before school starts- Email Mr. Schultz at firstname.lastname@example.org with any requests or questions.
• After August 30th: Your child needs to fill out a form from Mr. Schultz. The forms can be requested
from the MS/HS office. Forms must be turned in by September 10, 2021. After September 10th, all schedules are final.
- Students may request a schedule change for only one of the following reasons:
- Inappropriate placement (incorrect grade level of class)
- Incomplete schedule: missing a class/hour (do not have 7 hours)
- Course(s) have been completed during summer school
- Seniors missing a graduation requirement
- Dual Enrollment – must have already completed application
- There will be NO schedule changes to request teachers or lunch.
All families should have been contacted by transportation at this point. If you do not know the process for transportation please contact transportation. All students planning to ride the bus must be registered before school begins. Contact Diane Burbach, email@example.com, or 269-461-3834 for more information.
School of Choice Pick up and drop off is in the Ausco parking lot on the corner of Townline and Pipestone. Buses will pick up students at approximately 7:00am daily. Buses will drop off students after school at the same location at approximately 3:00pm-3:15pm. There is also an evening bus that will leave daily for only students that are involved in extracurricular activities. The bus will leave the school at 5:15pm and will drop off at the same location.
Eau Claire Athletic Information
Eau Claire students in grades 6-12 have the opportunity to participate in multiple scholastic sports. All athletes need to have a physical on file dated after April 15, 2021 to be eligible to participate during the 2021-2022 school year.. Student athletes that do not have a physical on file will not be able to participate in practice or competitions. During the season all student athletes will be held to a weekly grade check. If a student athlete falls below the MHSAA threshold, he/she will be ineligible to participate until their grades are back in line with requirements. Academic eligibility can be found in the Student/Parent Handbook and the Student Athlete Code of Conduct on our website. Season schedules can also be found at www.eauclaireps.com.
